What is unsorted gold? Unsorted gold bars are products made from raw materials obtained on the secondary market. These may include, among others, damaged bars from prestigious mints or pieces originating from non-accredited sources, as well as items repurchased from customers without certipacks. Importantly, gold from this category is not of lower quality than standard investment gold. However, the bars may have damage or minor imperfections resulting from use or less precise processes and tools. For this reason, it is a less suitable choice for investment purposes but can be perfectly used for processing into various types of gold utility products.
