The reverse of the coin was designed by Canadian artist Glen Loates and features a portrait of a polar bear, majestically towering over its surroundings while standing on an elevation. The uniqueness of this image is enhanced by the rays spreading around. On the right side, there is an imprint of a bear paw - a characteristic element of coins from this series. The edge of the disc is adorned with the inscriptions: CANADA, 2022, as well as the coin's purity and weight.

The obverse features the image of Queen Elizabeth, around which the Queen's title and the coin's face value are placed. This is a design by Susanna Blunt, which uniquely depicts the Queen without a crown.
