Historical Background

The year 2023 in the Chinese horoscope belongs to the rabbit. The Chinese horoscope, like the European one, consists of 12 signs. Each represents an animal and its corresponding traits. To find out your zodiac sign in the Chinese horoscope, you need to provide your birth date – just the year is enough. Additionally, each year in the case of Chinese zodiac signs is accompanied by one of the elements, depending on the alignment of the planets. According to tradition, people born in the Year of the Rabbit (1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, and 2023) are endowed with, among other things, intelligence, creativity, and empathy.
