On February 6, 1952, the unique story of the world's longest-reigning crowned head, Queen Elizabeth II, began. On the reverse of the coin, through engraving and painting, a portrait that was made during the Queen's last visit to Canada in 2010 is recreated. In this official portrait, Queen Elizabeth II is shown with the Canadian insignia of the Sovereign of the Order of Canada and the Order of Military Merit. It is worth noting that during her long reign, the Queen made 22 official visits to Canada, more than to any other Commonwealth country. The timeline of these trips is presented on an illustrated folder, which is the special packaging in which the coin is delivered.

The reverse features a colorful portrait of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by maple leaves. Above the image of Her Majesty, the inscription "CANADA" is engraved. The reverse also includes the coin's face value.

Of particular note is the obverse, which depicts four images of Queen Elizabeth II. These are the portraits that adorned Canadian coins from the beginning of her reign. Around them are the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II D. G. REGINA" and the years of the monarch's reign "1952-2022". This unique obverse is found only on numismatic coins from the Queen Elizabeth II collection.
