The Royal Canadian Mint once again pays tribute to Ukrainian culture by presenting a unique collector's coin in the shape of a pysanka. The silver pysanka not only refers to the rich folk tradition but also impresses with its precise execution and artistic design. It is a true work of art. The coin impresses with its unique, egg-shaped form, inspired by traditional Ukrainian pysankas, which have symbolized life, rebirth, and spiritual strength for centuries. Its surface is adorned with intricate geometric patterns representing the elements of air, fire, and water. The central place on the reverse is occupied by an eight-pointed star. The coin's design refers to traditional Ukrainian cosmological motifs, depicting the sun, stars, and the cyclicality of life. The entire composition is presented in intense colors: red, orange, yellow, and blue, each carrying deep meaning—joy, passion, light, and health. The design is by Canadian artist Natalie Kit. The obverse of the coin features the official image of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the denomination and delicate background patterns.
