The reverse depicts a portrait of Hipolit Cegielski in profile, in the central part of the coin. In the background of the portrait, there is a gear wheel, symbolizing his activity as an industrialist. Around the portrait are the inscriptions HIPOLIT CEGIELSKI and the dates 1813-2013, commemorating the 200th anniversary of his birth.
Hipolit Cegielski (1813-1868) was one of the pioneers of Polish industry. His activities played a key role in the economic development of Greater Poland and the entire country.
