Diamonds are the hardest of known natural minerals, resulting from pure coal arranged in an excellent crystalline structure. Their extraordinary durability makes them apply both in industry and in jewelry, where for centuries they are considered a symbol of luxury and timeless elegance. Diamonds are delighted with intense glow and exceptional ability to cleavage light. Although they are most often associated with a colorless figure, they also occur in rare, natural colors - from subtle shades of yellow, through a deep blue, to a romantic pink - which makes them even more desirable and unique.

Colorful diamonds are unique investment products that constitute not only a safe but and a prestigious form of capital deposits for long years. Their uniqueness, limited supply and a timeless nature make it gain valuable regardless of borders or market situation. The greatest advantage of these precious stones, however, is their mobility. The mission of stamp mint is to introduce colored diamonds to the investment portfolios of Poles as an effective and elite form of diversification of capital - next to gold and silver, it is one of the most valuable forms of securing your resources!

Colorful diamonds - a unique beauty in the hardest form

Although the diamonds are mainly associated with a colorless glow, colorful diamonds are considered the rare and the most exceptional from all precious stones. Despite the delicate look, they retain all characteristics for diamonds: they are extremely durable and reach the highest value 10 in Mohs's hardness scale. Beached billions of years ago in extreme pressure and temperature conditions, built exclusively from carbon atoms, these diamonds owe the trace of other elements or specific disorders in the structure crystal. Their ultimate shape and glow is the merit of the Mastefromen's work.

Types of diamonds - 4c principle

The value and quality of the diamond - also this color - is assessed according to the so-called 4c rules, or four key criteria: Karat (mass), cleanliness, color and grinding. Each of these elements plays an important role in determining both the aesthetics and the value of stone.

1) Karat - means a mass of a diamond, where 1 Karat is 0.2 grams. In the case of color diamonds, more weight often intensifies the intensity of the color, which significantly affects their market value, especially since large specimens about living colors are extremely rare.

2) Cleanliness - refers to internal presence (inclusions) and external (surface flaws) of imperfections. Colorful diamonds, despite their color saturation, are also assessed in terms of purity - although in their case small inclusions can be less noticeable due to the intensity of the color. Nevertheless, the higher the purity, the rusty and more desirable is the stone.

3) Color is the most characteristic feature of color diamonds. It is assessed in terms of intensity, uniformity and shades of color. These diamonds occur in a wide range of color - from pastel pinks, through deep fools, live greens, rare red, to blue and intense yellow. Their extraordinary color is the result of the presence of traces of elements (eg nitrogen, boron) or unique structural deformations in the crystalline network. Deep, saturated stones - the so-called are particularly appreciated. "Fancy Vivid" - which belong to the rarest and most expensive in the world.

4) The cut in turn decides how the diamond reflects and distracts the light. A well-made grim emphasizes the intensity of the color and increases the effectiveness of the stone. In the case of colored diamonds, the grinder can deliberately select such a shape and facet system to best display the color, sometimes even at the expense of ideal proportions, if required aesthetics of color.

Each of these four elements affects the final value of a color diamond, which increases more and more often the subject of desire to collectors, investors and lovers of exclusive jewelry around the world.

Method of color diamonds

Color diamonds arise as a result of specific conditions during their formation, which last millions of years deeply under the surface of the Earth. Their color results from the presence of various elements or disorders in the crystalline structure of the diamond. Main factors affecting the formation of colors m.in.: chemical pollution (eg nitrogen or boron), disorders in a crystalline structure, radiation, pressure and temperature. Colorful diamonds are rare and their color can be from subtle after intense.

Stable color diamonds

Colorful diamonds are becoming more and more interest in investors due to their rarity, uniqueness and stable growing value. Unlike colorless stones, their price is shaped not only by classic 4c parameters (mass, color, purity, cut), but above all by intensity and color shade - decisive factors with the uniqueness of a given specimen. It is worth noting that the prices of colored diamonds usually start with several thousand zlotys, but the most sought-after stones - like pink, blue or green - can achieve a value counted even in hundreds of thousands of zlotys. Their valuation is based on market analyzes, gemmological expertise and collector's demand. All this makes colorful diamonds today perceived not only as a luxurious good, but also as an increasingly popular way for long-term investment.

Why is it worth investing in colorful diamonds?

Colorful diamonds gain increasing recognition on the investment market, especially in the times of global economic instability and increasing inflation.
